Office of Food Systems Resilience

The Office of Food Systems Resilience has introduced a new tool to assist Montgomery County residents in finding food resources. This easy-to-use flow chart guides individuals to the appropriate support based on their needs—whether urgent, short-term, or related to longer-term nutrition programs available at the federal, state, or local level.

EveryMind Mental Wellness​

EveryMind offers crisis support and suicide prevention through its Crisis Hotline, which provides confidential counseling and assistance 24/7 through telephone, text, and chat services.

EverMind also offers support groups, counseling, case management, and referrals to other resources in the community. They aim to reduce stigma surrounding mental health and create a supportive environment for individuals and families facing mental health challenges.

Maternity Partnership/Prenatal Care

This program is offered through Montgomery County and works with hospitals to provides prenatal care, routine laboratory tests, prenatal classes, and a dental screening by a dental hygienist, if referred.

Babies Born Healthy (BBH)

Babies Born Healthy (BBH)  is a Montgomery County initiative aimed to address the high disparity in infant mortality among Black babies in the southern portion of the county.  BBH is a comprehensive program that delivers targeted care coordination services to Black pregnant Medicaid eligible people, through the work of nurses, community health workers, lactation consultants, and mental health support.   The program offers home visiting, prenatal-childbirth-parenting-breastfeeding-postnatal education and support, as well as linkages to other service; the program also offers incentives to the participants.
