We are a pediatric medical group that provides medical care of children from birth to college. Our physicians collectively have over 45 years of pediatric medicine and healthcare experience. Many of our parents were prior patients themselves and are now bringing their children for the same dependable and attentive services that help promote their children’s health and well being. At Spring Pediatrics, our goal is to ensure we provide compassionate, quality care. We value our patients and strive to provide only the best service possible.
Conveniently located in Silver Spring, MD, we provide services to patients from Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Howard County, Washington, DC, Virginia and beyond. Our physicians have admitting privileges at Holy Cross Hospital.
Your Doctors
Antonio E. Cornier, MD
Dr. Antonio E. Cornier is originally from Puerto Rico. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He worked on research at the University of Miami – Pediatric Infectious Diseases Department prior to joining a Pediatric Emergency Group in Florida. Dr. Cornier worked as a pediatric emergency physician for almost ten years before moving to Maryland. He has been with our practice since 2011. He is fluent in English and Spanish. When he is not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his black Lab, Sofia, in the great outdoors.
Robert C. DaRosso, MD
Dr. Robert DaRosso is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the University of Padua, School of Medicine in Italy and worked as a pediatric hospitalist at NYU Medical Center and Beth Israel Medical Center for 25 years. His research work was focused on the treatment of pediatric oncology. He joined our practice in January of 2017. Dr. DaRosso quickly became popular among our adolescent patients, gaining their trust and developing a strong rapport. He is fluent in English and Italian. Dr. DaRosso is a huge Steelers fan and loves spending time with his wife and two sons.
Spring Pediatrics Staff
From the moment you walk through the front door of our office you become part of our family at Spring Pediatrics. Our staff is here to make your experience a joyful one and help you to maneuver through the maze of questions, forms, vaccines and illness. From your initial phone call to checking in at the front desk, our receptionists will help you to prepare for your visit with our medical staff. Our medical assistants greet your children with care and a smile as they check vital signs, weight and height.
We all work as a team to answer your questions and help you reach your children’s health goals. You, as parents and guardians, are the most important players on our team.
